PLAY READING

Tue 20 June - 7:30pm - Tor Barn, Godney
The Importance Of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde

This is Oscar Wilde’s most iconic play, with moments of high farce and witty dialogue , which make it a gem for actors and audience alike . Yet it is also a satire on the values and institutions of late Victorian England and all of it set against a background of duplicity and repression which was a subtext for the playwright’s homosexuality
